Research

Data from from Dolores M. Johnson (Gucciardo), 169 and 554 have her born on Sept 28, 1845. Death Certificate lists age as 77 yrs 4 mths 19 ds, which yields a birthdate of 29-Sep-1844. Death Certificate lists date of birth as 28-Jan-1844, which would make her 78 yrs 1 mth 20ds at death if correct. Don't know cause of discrepancy or which is correct, but will use middle date (29-Sep-1844) as authorative until “tiebreaker” data is found. [[PDA 2-Apr-01]]

Another source369 has his birthplace as Fayette County, VA. Bartlett not in 1860 Braxton Co Census, but is in 1870 and 1880 Braxton Co Census.369

Walker Cemetary is just inside Nicholas County, about 1/2 mile south of the Braxton County line, on Keener's Ridge.399 Walker Cemetery is located 2 tenths of a mile from the Baughman United
Methodist Church near the Braxton County Line. 554
