And being the same property conveyed to ...” William M Richards and Millicent Richards “...by deed from Dolly May Richards, widow, bearing even date herewith...” Deed of Trust initiated a promissory note with value $7,500; monthly payments of $75 and annual interest at 4%.

1972 Federal Tax Return showed the following:
Cash Sale of house and lot at Ohley, WV on 10-Jan-72 for $5,000 ($3,000 below cost basis)
Installment Sale in 1971 of house and lot at 439 Market Drive for $10,500 (77% net profit)
Rental income of $1,320 for property at 6526 MacCorkle Ave
Rental income of $720 for property at Cabin Creek

“...between Dolly Richards, ... and Harold L Casto and Flo V Casto, his wife...” “...all of that lot, piece or parcel of land ... situate in the City of Charleston, Kanawha Co, WV, abutting on Pine Street in the said City ... being more particularly ... described as Lot ‘A’ as shown upon a plat entitled, ‘Subdivision of Lot No 211, Burlew Heights, City of Charleston, Kanawha Co, WV, Property of Margaret Peay’, dated April 24, 1950 ... of record in the office of the Clerk of the County Court of Kanawha Co, WV, in Map Book 15, at page 17; and being the same property conveyed to ... [Dolly Richards] by Edward H Tiley, Trustee, by deed dated November 13, 1973, of record in said Clerk’s office in Deed Book 1713, at page 577...” “...subject to the right of way conveyed to Margaret Peay, single, by Charles F MacQueen and Julia C MacQueen, his wife, by deed dated March 9, 1951, recorded in aforesaid clerk’s office...” “total consideration paid for the property transferred by this document is $5,500.00.”
Note that accompanying correspondence found among the records of Dolly Richards leads to the belief that this property, while owned by Mrs Richards, suffered a “loss as a result of the fire” that may have led to an insurance payment of $8000 being made to Mrs Richards sometime soon after this sale. The name “Edward Asseff” is also used in this correspondence in a way that leads to the conclusion that he was renting the house at 439 Market Drive when the fire occurred and did not pay all of his bills.

RELEASE
I, DOLLY M RICHARDS, do hereby release that certain deed of trust made by Gary L Pell, Sr ad Nancy K Pell, his wife, dated June 15, 1980, and of record in the offide of the Clerk of the County Commission of Kanawha County, WV, in Trust Deed Book 1601, at page 645, the note therein secured, together with the interest thereon, having been fully paid, satisfied and cancelled.
