Thomas Huddleston was born in Virginia. He was a pioneer of Kentucky, and lived there many years before he moved to Hamilton Co, OH (not sure this is correct).
The 1810 Shelby Co, KY census show him living there with three daughters, two aged 10-16 and 1 age 16-26. He also had four sons, one aged 1-10, two aged 10-16 and one aged 16-26.

Thomas Huddleston of Harden County, Kentucky has deposited in the General Land Office of the United States, a certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Crawfordsville, Indiana, whereby it appears that full payment has been made by the said
Thomas Huddleston according to the provisions of the Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820, entitled 'An act making further provisions for the sale of the Public Lands,' for the east half of the south west quarter of section thirty six, in township seventeen north, of range six west in the District of Terre Haute, and State of Indiana, Containing Eighty acres, according to the official plat of the survey of the said Lands, returned to the General Land Office by the Surveyor General, which said tract has been purchased by the said
Thomas Huddleston.
Now know ye, That the United States of America, in consideration of the premises and in conformity with the several acts of Congress, in such case made and provided have given and granted, and, by these presents, do give and grant, unto the said
Thomas Huddleston and to his heirs the said tract above described: To Have and to Hold the same, together with all the rights and privileges, immunities and appurtenances, of what so ever nature thereto belonging, unto the said

Rachel his wife of the County of Montgomery and State of Indiana of the One part and

John Kinder with 7 sons b. ca 1810-20.
John Kinder is also found in Kanawha Co, VA in 1810 with 1 son under ten years of age. In 1840, he has moved to Macoupin Co, IL, and is found on the same census page as
Thomas Huddleston (Jr).
