Served in 38th VA Infantry, Company H. Two of his brothers, Charles, and John were in the same Company. "Probably wounded in action at Chester Point on Oct 5, 1864." According to the regimental history for the 38th VA, he is buried at the Johnson family cemetary in Pittsville, VA.
31It appears that Aaron left the 38th at some point after July, 1862, then enlisted in the 2nd VA Cavalry, Company I at Campbell Co, 11/15/63. His brother William H. was in the same Company.
