Carl T Slack, 85, of Charleston, formerly of Chelyan, died Aug 18, 2002, in St Francis Hospital after a long illness.
He was retired from The Bank of West Virginia (now BB&T) on Charleston's West Side. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, stepson, sister, Virginia Hurst of Cabin Creek, several nieces and nephews; five step grandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren.
Service will be 11 am Wednesday, Aug 21, at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston, with the Rev Charles Steele officiating. Burial will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the mortuary.
