William Locke Johnson, 1841-1928
Bill was born in Rowan County, North Carolina. He moved to Wilkes County, North Carolina, after his folks' deaths, and from there served in the Civil War.
After the war (1873), he moved his family to Van Zandt County, Texas, where he lived out his days.
He's buried at White Rose Cemetery just outside Wills Point.
