Bert WILKINSON of Teeswater passed away suddenly at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, March 22, 1993 in his 67^th year.

Born in Bentinck Township, Grey County, he was a son of the late Charles WILKINSON and Mary BLACK.

In April of 1953 he married Ruby Scott.

Besides his wife, Ruby, Bert leaves to mourn brothers John of Sault Ste Marie; Art and Bill of Hanover and Gordon of England and one sister, Ada, Mrs Russel BELL of R.R.3 Walkerton.

He was predeceased by his brother Ken and his parents.

The funeral service was held on Thursday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at the MacPherson Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Fearon conducting the service.

Flower bearers were Tim KENNEDY, Elmer ROSS, Gord CERSON and Cam DUNLOP.

Pall bearers were Keith CASSIDY, Ron LAMONT, Hugh MACDONALD, Craig MCTAVISH, Bob WILKINSON and George SKINN.

Spring interment in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.

Bert was a member of Teeswater United Church and was on the church’s Board of Trustees.

He was employed at the Teeswater creamery for many years until 1979 when he was forced to retire due to ill health. He also spent some time delivering groceries for Doug and Pauline OATMAN.

Bert will be greatly missed by his loving partner Ruby and by his many friends, relatives and neighbours.
