Charles J. Wilkinson, aged 85 years, of R.R. 1 Greenock, passed away on Saturday, April 6^th, 1963 in Wingham General Hospital after an illness of about 3 months duration.

Born in Bentinck Township, deceased was a son of the late Mr and Mrs James WILKINSON. He farmed in Bentinck until twenty years ago, when he moved to Teeswater. He was a member of the Teeswater United Church.

His wife, the former Mary BLACK whom he married in 1909 at Elmwood, died in 1950.

Surviving are six sons. Kenneth and Bert of Teeswater, William of Hanover, Arthur of Bentinck, John of Sault Ste Marie and Gordon in England; one daughter (Ada) Mrs Russel BELL, of Culross Township; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

The body rested at the W.G. Church Funeral Home, Teeswater where the funeral was conducted at 2pm on Tuesday by Rev. Jack C. Hicks. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
