Violet Beatrice WILKINSON (DIEBEL)
1918 – 1964
The funeral of Mrs Arthur WILKINSON of 490 Eleventh Street Hanover, formerly of R.R. 4 Elmwood, who entered into rest at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday October 25th 1964 was held on Wednesday October 28th, 1964. The late Mrs WILKINSON rested at the Richardson Funeral Home, Hanover until noon on Wednesday thence to Salem Evangelical United Brethern Church for service at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Reverend W.T. BROWN officiating. Mrs Arthur KRUTZKAMP played a piano solo, "Whispering Hope," and accompanied the singing of Congretional hymns.
The beautiful floral tributes were carried by Miss Luane CREWSON of Hanover, Miss Bonnie BELL of Teeswater, Mr Ronald CREWSON, Hanover, Mr Gary DIEBEL, Toronto, Mr Bobby WILKINSON, Hanover, Mr Ronald SCHREINERT, R.R. 4 Elmwood. There were many memorial tributes also.
Casket bearers, Messrs Clark ERWIN, Hanover, David ZIMMERMAN, Hanover, Eric ASHTON, R.R. 4 Elmwood, Norman SCHREINERT, R.R. 4 Elmwood, Walter WEIDENDORF, R.R. 4 Elmwood, Calvin SMITH, R.R. 2 Hanover.
The many relatives and friends which nearly filled the church for the Service were from Brantford, Toronto, Elmwood, Bentinck Twp., Teeswater, Allan Park and Sault Ste Marie.
