Montgomery County, OhioMontgomery county has been home to the Wright Brothers, Charles F Kettering, Col. Deeds, and John Patterson and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. You can see a Wright Flyer assembled by Orville Wright, part of the Erie Canal, and Newcomb Tavern at Carillon Park. The US Air Force Museum contains an outstanding collection of planes and flight memorabilia. Woodland Cemetery and arboretum is the final resting place of many notable Daytonians.
