Funeral Services Held For A. Bond Friday, Dec. 8

   Funeral services were held for Mr. Albert Bond, Friday, December 8, 1950, at the Community Baptist church, in Crowley, at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in Valley View cemetery, Ordway.

Obituary
   Albert Bond, son of David and Mary Bond, was born at Greencastle, Indiana, December 23, 1871. He passed away December 6, 1950, in Mennonite hospital [La Junta, CO], following a short illness.
   When Albert Bond was eight years old his parents moved to Council Grove, Kansas. He spent his youth in that city and on January 20, 1897, he was united in marriage to Miss Nannie Neal of Council Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Bond resided in Council Grove until 1908 when they moved to Blaine county, Oklahoma. In 1923 they moved to Crowley, Colo., where they have made their home.
   Mr. Bond engaged in farming and carpentering during his life time. His interest outside his work was in his home and around his family. He was a friend and good neighbor to everyone, liked by all who knew him and was held in the hightest esteem in the community.
   In 1918 Mr. Bond united with the Christian church.
   Mr. Bond was preceded in death by his father and mother, four sisters, one brother and one grandson. Surviving him are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. H.W. Mann, of Crowley; two sons, Orville of Crowley, and Marvin of Pendelton, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. W.F. Bean of Crowley, Mrs. L.E. Dyke of Eagle City, Okla., and Mrs. A.W. Soderberg of Wichita, Kans.; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
