Funeral Services for W.F. Bean

   Funeral services for W.F. Bean were held at 2:30 p.m. last Thursday at the Ordway Christian Church. Burial was in Valley View cemetery.
   W.F. Bean, a well-known farmer and rancher residing a half mile south of Crowley, was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage and passed away enroute to a Pueblo hospital, Monday evening, March 18, 1957.
   Mr. Bean, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Bean, as born in Cypress, Ill., June 25, 1879. At an early age he moved to Council Grove, Kan.
   November 28, 1899 he was united in marriage to Osa Bond. To this union was born seven children.
   In 1910, with his family he moved to Crowley county, where he has been a successful farmer and stockman. Mr. Bean has always worked and aided very materially in the betterment of the county.
   He was preceded in death by two children.
   He leaves to mourn his death, his wife; a son, Everett R. of Crowley; daughters, Flora of Pueblo, Mrs. Maudie Hall of Yerington, Nevada, Mrs. Mary Peyton of Karval, and Mrs. Ruth Horton of Brawley, Calif.
   Two brothers, Raymond Bean of Oklahoma City and Lester Bean of Sunland, Calif; three sisters, Mrs. Velma Reno of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Iva Galloway, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs. Lucille Edwards, Rosemean, Calif.; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and a host of friends.
