   Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday for Orville S. Bond of Crowley, who passed away last Thursday at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Rocky Ford. He was 61. Burial was in Valley View cemetery, Ordway.
   Mr. Bond, the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bond, was born at Council Grove, Kan. June 21, 1900.
   When he was eight years of age his parents moved to Oklahoma where he lived until 1923 when he moved to Crowley.
   For many years Mr. Bond followed the carpenter trade in Memphis, Tenn., Oklahoma and Colorado.
   In 1952 he became a victim of multiple sclerosis and since then had been unable to work.
   On March 27, 1927 Mr. Bond and Miss Leona Todd were united in marriage at Taloga, Oklahoma.
Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters; a son; one sister, Violet Mann of Crowley; one brother, Marvin of Pendleton, Ore.; nine grandchildren; one niece; three nephews and many friends.
