Minnie Anna (Gillaspie) Spring-Alexander

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Porter-Kinser Funeral Home Chapel in Iola, Kansas for Mrs. Anna Alexander, 88, mother of Mrs. J.R. Hardin 927 Maple. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery at Iola. Mrs. Alexander, who died in a local hospital late Sunday night following a long illness, was born 27 January 1874 at Dayton, Indiana and came to Muskogee from Iola about 11 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Iola. Other survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Elda Armstrong of La Junta, Colorado, and two sons, Otto Spring of Okmulgee and Clair Spring of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Lescher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
