Lifelong Sutter County resident Mamie A. Meier, 99, died yesterday at her home in Yuba City.
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel with her burial to follow at Sutter Cemetery.
She was a more than 50-year member and Past President of the Native Daughters of the Golden West Marysville Parlor No. 162, the Sunflower Rebekah Lodge in Yuba City, the Sutter County Historical Society, and was secretary of the Meridian Wednesday Afternoon Club.
Survivors include three daughters; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-step-grandchildren; and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Her sons William and Arthur Meier were both victims of the 1955 flood in Yuba City.
Visitations are scheduled Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. and Monday from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
