Information from George's biography in the History of Vermilion County. Born
and reared near Williamsport. Ella Beebe, age 9, was in their household as a
step daugher in the 1880 census, this confirms Cynthia's prior marriage. The
1900 census shows George W. and Ann S. Prather in Rossville with Carie and
Albert, ages 20 and 16. George and Ann show as being married 25 years and
she had borne 3 children with three living.
Cynthia's prior marriage to Marcus Beebe information is from Kathy Butler,
3107 Lockwood Terrace, Sarasota, FL 34231. She also furnished much other
information on the line.
Cynthia's parents died when she was a young girl and she was raised by her
uncle, Sam Bush and aunt Susan Reddick Bush.
