Notes for Basil PRATHER

Dates from William Prather, Rossville, Illinois. James estate settlement
shows Basil living in Ripley County, Indiana. The family was well know there.
Elizabeth is presumed to the his second wife as he had at least four children
born before 1824.
Children's names from the 1850 census of Ripley County, Indiana
Basil (spelled Basle in the 1860 census) and Elizabeth and the children are
all in Shelby Township, Ripley County in the 1860 census.
