Notes for Mary Elizabeth

Mary sold the land patented by her husband, John Ross, to Daniel Heaton.
According to some histories, she went to live with her son,William, in Knox
County, Ohio and died there. There may be a Mary Ross Burial in Butler
County and this could be hers. From the cessation of interest payments for
her dower, it appears she died about 1829 as noted by Dorothy Henning.
Pearl Ross's records give her death year as 1834 and at her son's, William,
home near Centerberg, Knox County, Ohio
