West Prussia in 1882 showing the approximate location of Deutsch Damerau (Dabrowka Malborska). According to the 1868 Rudolph's Ortslexikon, it was a parish village in the Stuhm (now Sztum) district of Ostpreussen (East Prussia), and was located about 10 km NNE of Stuhm, with 485 inhabitants.
