A mailing list is a place to ask questions and share information related to a specific subject. The IOWA List has over 1000 members. When a member posts to the list, their message is sent to all the other people on the list. You can count on getting 15-25 messages a day, all having something to do with Iowa genealogy, but not necessarily related to your specific surnames or counties.	If you are lucky, you will discover a cousin or someone else searching the same lines you are. In any case, the list contains lots of hints and specific information about where and how to search for your ancestors.	This mailing list is sponsored by Rootsweb.
