| Although Daniel Soesbe, Jr. says of the bible record in his statement in support of his mother's pension application that "he knows and believes it to be the hand writing of his father," Rachel Soesbe states it "was made about seven years ago by Daniel Harbert, her grandson, at the direction of her husband and herself."
Although the birth year of their son, William is given as 1801 in the record, his obituary says he was born 1806. All of the census records I've found of William are consistent with a 1806 birthdate. |
