Died on the fourth day of March, 1841, at his residence in Honey Creek Twp. in this county, Mr. Daniel Soesbe, in the 86th year of his age. He served three years as a soldier in our Revolutionary struggle and bore an active part in the scenes of that trying period. He emigrated to Shelby Co., Ky., soon after the Revolution and there underwent all the difficulties and privations incident to Indian warfare. For a number of years he has resided in Vigo county and leaves behind him a good name as a legacy to his children. He was an exemplary member of the Baptist Church.
