The Diaries of Stephen Wallace Richards

Stephen Wallace Richards was born 20 April, 1852 in Upton, Maine the son of Stephen N. and Lydia E. Richards.  In 1872 he moved to Andover with his family, where he married Ida Cutting 22 June 1879. He worked his whole life raising potatoes and cattle. He was active in the Andover Methodist Church and served several years as the District School Superintendent.  Wallace and Ida had five children.  These diaries were found in 1998 in the house they lived in.
