"Thomas
and Mary were married in England and came to America
in 1846. Thomas worked in the rolling mills inNew
York State for seven years. At the expiration of that
time deciding to try his fortunes in this then western
country, he came to Illinois and located upon the
farm which we have mentioned. Here he followed the avocation
of a farmer for many years, and retired from active
work fifteen years prior to his decease."
He
married Mary Anna TUDOR, Before 1846 in England. Born 10
Oct 1823 in England. Died 15 Jan 1896. Buried in
Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, IL.

Fullford and mother of John, and the dates, ages
and location match.
In a
"portrait and biographical record" from a history book on
Randolph County, IL, she is listed as Mary A. (Tudor)
Fullford.
It's
recorded she was "still living at the age of seventy-three
years, and made her home with her son, John."
