- Connecticut pilgrimage: a research expedition, June-July 2004. Ken Rockwell reports on research in Hartford and Fairfield County, which yielded finds that will become the subject of several articles, including the following:
- D. Williams Patterson (1824-1892): unsung pioneer of Rockwell genealogy. Ken found his research journal from an 1873 research trip to Fairfield County, when he worked for S. W. Phoenix, author of the Whitney genealogy.

- Jabez Rockwell of Ridgebury: new information on the powder horn inscription. Grandson Charles F. Rockwell's own testimony on the artifact and the unauthorized addition of part of the wording found on it.
- Seeking the home lot of John Rockwell of Stamford. John's lot was one person Stamford historian Jeanne Majdalany was unable to locate on the maps in her 1990 book on the early settlement of Stamford. Ken Rockwell made a stab at solving this mystery while in Fairfield County.
