Clarence R. Wingo, 73, of 230 21st St., Dunbar, died Monday in Summersville apparently of a heart attack.

He was a retired employe of the International Union of Operating Engineers and was a member of Humphrey's Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Wingo lived in Dunbar 35 years.

Surviving: wife, Gladys Miller Wingo; stepson, Paul Smith of Victoria, Tex.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Bayes of South Charleston; brothers, Albert of Dunbar, Carson of Claxton, Ga., Waldon of Hurricane, Walter of Lewisburg; sisters, Mrs. Emma Jones of Charleston, Mrs. Gertrude Hudson of Titusville, Fla., Mrs. Mayo Spicer of Colorado.

Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, is in charge of arrangements.
