John Franklin Wingo, 47, of Hurricane died Wednesday in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was an employee of Union carbide and a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Masons, Scottish Rite Bodies and Advisory Board of Demolay.

Surviving: wife, Joann; sons, Frank Paul of Hurricane, Larry Wayne of Cross Lanes; daughter Mrs. Linda Smith of Hurricane; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Waldon wingo of Hurricane; brother Clarence of Winfield; grandmother, Mrs. Emmaline Layne of Ashland, Kentucky.

Service will be 1:00 P. M. Saturday in Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane with Rev. S. Ward Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park.
