Richard Allen Wingo, 38, of San Francisco, formerly of Charleston, W. Va., died Oct. 28, 1993, in San Francisco after a short illness.

He was a graduate of DuPont High School, Belle, W. Va., and Morris Harvey College, Charleston. He was a former employee of Charleston Area Medical Center and was most recently employed in the kidney dialysis unit at the University of California at San Francisco.

Surviving: parents, Clarence and Betty Wingo of Winfield, W. Va.; sister, Pamela Vlahakis of Flemington, N. J.; grandmother, Grace Taylor of Charleston.

Interment was at Tyler Mountain (W. Va.) Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
