Notes for JESSE GALLIMORE:
In War of 1812. Died after getting chilled from swimming the Yadkin River
while he was recovering from measles. His children are all mentioned
in his father William's will. Lived in the part of Rowan which eventually (in
1822) became Davidson County (Flat Swamp area).

Six or seven members of the Wyatt family married into the Bean and Gallimore
families.

Notes for WILLIAM GALLIMORE:
William did not go to KY with his mother and the rest of the family in 1833;
he remained in NC with relatives. He was then 14 years of age. Later he went
to TN where he owned a farm and taught a rural school near McLemoresville.
Still later on he moved to Little Rock where he died, leaving a daughter.

In the name of God Amen, I William Gallemore of the county of Davidson, being through the abundant mercies of God though weak in body yet of a sound and perfect understanding and memory do Constitute this my last will and testament and desire it to be received of all persons as Such imprimis. I humbly bequeath my Soul to God my maker, beseaching his most gracious acceptance of it through the all Sufficient merits and mediator of my most
Compassionate redeemer Jesus Christ imprimis. I give my body to the Earth from whence it was taken in full assurance that it rise again at the resurrection of the great Day. as for my burial I desire it may be desent at the discresion of my dear wife and Executors here after named. as to my worldly Estate I will and order that all my Just debts be paid. I [tem] give to my dear wife the use of this house and plantation and all the property I
now possess in dureing her life time also my Daughter Elizabeth to have priveledge to make her living of the Same place.

my Daughter Elizabeth Gallemore is to have the plantation she now live on at the death of my wife and at the death of my wife my moveable property to be equaly Divided between my two Daughters and I do constitue my wife wife Elizabeth [&] William Bean my Soul Executor of this my last will and testament in witness whereof I do herein set my hand and Seal this the 28th
