Brother may have lived in Sioux City, Iowa. Had three sons: John, Will and George.

We also have an oral legend that relatives were hat makers in Stockport, but
have been unable to make a connection.

His father is shown as Edmund Witney, occupation Labourer. Her father is shown as William Hope, occupation Labourer. They signed their names by making their mark, x.
