Maritie next married Hendrick Andriese VAN DOESBURGH on 4 December 1649 in Amsterdam, Holland.2 Maritie next married Cornelis VAN NESS in 1664 in Albany, Albany Co., New York.3

2 Ibid, DTB Amsterdam nr. 680, p. 176. Both are mentioned as 'from Doesburg', so his name definitely is a patronymn here. In the margin this marriage record also mentions a 'weeskamer' (but no specifics), which means there are children from a previous marriage.

At the time of her death, she had only three living children, as evidenced by the agreement made between her heirs concerning the division of her property after her death. This document is dated 5 Aug 1686 and names the 3 children: Jan Van Eps, Elizabeth Van Eps, and Jannettie Hendrickse d/o Maritie and husband Hendrick Andriessen van Doesburgh.
