From[34] "The Eno and Enos Family in America" by Douglas Richardson, 1973 revised 1985:
"... He was mentioned in his father's 1709 will and he was left a third part of all of his father's lands in Simsbury, Conn. as well as a third part of two parcels of land lying(sic) in Windsor, Conn. (one of the parcels was on Wash Brook, the other was called Plumb(sic) tree swamp. John settled in Simsbury, Conn. where he was deeded land by the town in 1723. He married about 1726, probably in or near Simsbury, to Frances (------) Roberts, the widow of John Roberts, Jr. Frances was born about 1700, probably in or near Windsor, Conn... John seems to have farmed with his brother, William Eno, in the Simsbury area as their lands adjoined each other... In 1740, when St. Andrew's Episcopal Church of Simsbury, Conn. (now Bloomfield, Conn.) was formally established, John Eno, and adult, signed the papers..."
John married Frances ROBERTS in 1726 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut. (Frances ROBERTS was born about 1700 in Prob. Windsor, Connecticut and died in 1778 in Prob. Simsbury, Connecticut.)
