Following are photos of selected stones in St. Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery. Bruce and I visited the St. Vincent cemetery after first stopping at the East Vincent Cemetery just down Hwy 23. We weren't looking for anyone in particular. We did find several SHOWALTERs buried here. Bruce's Mother was a SHOWALTER. We don't know yet how these SHOWALTERs connect to our family. Bruce is also descended from the CHRISTMAN family. We have not done any research on this line as yet.

| Bruce's Mother was Eleanor Ruth SHOWALTER SANDLIER. We've traced her SHOWALTER line back to Jacob (1697 - 1773). Bruce's Gr Grandfather Jacob Funk SHOWALTER was born April 12, 1824, so Reuben and Jacob were contemporaries. We have not found a connection to the Reuben SHOWALTER family as yet. | |
