Died Suddenly.
Jacob Walborn, residing on Second avenue between Sixteenth and Seventeenth streets, died very suddenly this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. He has been suffering for some time past from paralysis and was able to be up a little while this afternoon, and on being assisted back into bed, he fell over dead. He leaves a wife and family to mourn his sudden death.
Arrangements had been about completed for taking him tomorrow to Omaha for treatment. The time of the funeral will be announced later.
Nebraska City News, May 15, 1896Jacob Walborn, who died suddenly yesterday afternoon, was born at Millersburg, Dauphin county, Penn., Dec. 19th, 1855, and married in the fall of 1877 to Miss Koppenhafer, and 1879 came to Nebraska City, where he has since made his home. He leaves a widow and three children to mourn his death. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from his late residence No. 1614 Second avenue.
