Zelpha Fern Kudron, 79 of Salinas, died at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Kudron was born Oct. 28, 1908 in Dunning Neb. She lived in Salinas for the past 18 months.

She was a motel maid for 10 years before she retired 15 years ago. She was a member of The Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by son Ronald of Salinas; two brothers, Lloyd Samson of Puyallup Wash., and Richard Samson of Clatskani Ore.; a sister Iva McKinley of Seattle; and two grandsons.

Visitation is scheduled from noon to 9 p.m. today in Whitehurst/Muller Funeral Service Chapel. Private graveside services are scheduled in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
