Will of James McCachren ³No 1412 Last Will and Testament of James McCachren, decd. In the name of God, Amen. I, James McCachren of the Township of Wheatfield, County of Indiana and State of Pennsylvania, farmer, being in good health of body and of sound and dissosing [?] mind and memory, do make and declare this to be my Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say: I order that all my just debts, funeral expenses and charges of [-ing] this my will be in the first place fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof and every part thereof, I give and bequeath to my son Archibald McCachren¹s children, the sum of One hundred and fifty dollars, manner following: Maxwell Morehead McCachren, fifty Dollars, Noah Webster McCachren Fifty dollars and Olive Jane Fifte dollars, to be paid at their attaining twenty one years, without interest and all the Real Estate I bequeath in manner following: that is, to my son Frances [Francis] I bequeath all my Real Estate and to my daughter Mary Jane, the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars, to be paid by my son Frances in payments, in manner following, tha tis to say: at her marrage Forty dollars and each and every year forty dollars, to all is paid, and to keep Mary Jane of the place as long as she remains single. Frances to have the place and all that he can make off it, as long as I live, by keeping me and giving me a decent burial. In Witness Whereof, I , the said Testator, James McCachren, have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the 15th day of May, A. D. 1858. Lichleberger, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for said county, was duly found and therefore approved the foregoing instrument of writing as and for the Last Will and Testament of James McCachren, late of the township of Wheatfield, deceased, by the oath of Hugh Parker and Andrew McFeaters, the subscribing witnesses thereto.
