obituary of Emily Eloise Shepard Degling "Mrs. Eloise Shepard Degling, 54, of Maplewood, New Jersey, passed away after only a few weeks illness in the Orange Memorial Hospital, N. J., on Thursday, February 14, 1992. [1952 typo] Surviving Mrs. Degling are her husband, Albert O. Degling, vice-president in charge of construction for the American Can Company in New York City; two sons, Albert S. of Rochester, and Donald, a law student at Cornell Universtiy; three brothers, Elston of North Bloomfield, Leslie of Lockport, N. Y.; four sisters, Mrs. M. A. Darville of Jackson Heights, Long Island, Mrs. B. S. Proper of Summit, N. J.,and Mabel and Helen Shepard, both of North Bloomfield, N. Y. Funeral services were held in New Jersey on Friday, February 15, 1952."
