ALASKAN FRUIT SALAD

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 11-oz. can mandarin orange sections, drained
1 1/2 c. lemonade
1 3-3 1/4 oz. pkg. vanilla pudding mix
1 8 1/4 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, quartered

Soften gelatin in 1/4 c. lemonade. In medium saucepan, combine remaining lemonade, pudding mix, and softened gelatin. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles. Chill until partially set. Whip cream; fold into gelatin mixture. Fold in oranges, pineapple, and cherries. Chill until mixture mounds; turn into 4-cup mold. Chill 4 to 5 hours or overnight. Unmold. Garnish with additional fruit, if desired.
