Dear Minna
How
are you? are you coming to see us this summer -- it is near Blanche's
vacation time, and I hope she will come and bring you with her --
tell her she will be a nice young lady if she does this -- if your
Mama should come she would be surprised to see what a large strawberry
bed Annie has set out, she is out in the garden now hoeing the weeds
down, the danger for her is that she will work too hard -- Aunt
Sis hurt herself by cutting down weeds higher than her head and
getting overheated, has been stiff in her knees and ebows [sic]
ever since --
We have had too much rain and it
has bee [sic] too cool for the garden, we have no vegetables except
potatoes, it is hot now and everything grow --
all well -- I am very well but not strong
-- you mus [sic] excuse this writing for I can scarcely see what
I have written --
With much love to all
Grandma
