June 12th 1856
Sir: I have the honor to return herewith the letter
to your addres from Jno. Jay Johns Esq. of St. Charles Mo, and in reply
to the request of Mr. Johns, have to state that I have this day transmitted
to A. Renard Esq. Recorder of Land Titles St. Louis Mo. a patent
as Recorded Vol. 11 pages 307, 308 & 309, in favor of Francis Duquette
or his legal Representatives, being in Township 47 North, of Ranges
4 & 5 East of the 5th Principal Meridian, --Survay No 1667 - Pat
Cert No 1274, and have requested the Recorder to deliver said Patent
to the party entitled to receive it.
