Land Deed from Felix Kilpatrick to Sugarfork Baptist Chuch Trustees

This indenture made and agreed up on this the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Firty One between Felix Kilpatrick of the county of Macon, State of North Carolina of the one part and William Arnold, Abraham Moore, Willis Guy, Trustees for the Sugar Fork Baptist Church of the same of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to be in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents receipt hereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed and the presents do grant, bargain, and sell unto them the said William Arnold, Abraham Moore, Willis Guy for the use of the Sugar Fork Baptist Church, three acres of land lying and being in the county of Macon and state afore said and district number 11 and section number 85, a part of that track three acres including the Baptist meeting house, graveyard and spring to have and to hold to the afore said bargained premises unto them the said Arnold, Moore and Guy with the right of members and appentures there unto beloning or in any way appertaining forever in fee simple and the afore said Felix Kilpatrick for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns will warrant and forever defend against the claim of himself, his heirs and asigns the claim of all other persons, whatsoever unto them the said trustees. In testimony whereof the said Felix Kilpatrick hath here unto set his hand affixed his seal the day and year first above written, signes, sealed and delivered in the presence of us.
