1. Michael¹ Miliken was born Abt. 1820 in County Clare, Ireland, and died 1847 at sea outside Quebec, Canada. He married Honora Grogan Bef. 1839 in County Claire, Ireland. She was born Abt. 1824 in County Clare, Ireland, and died 12 July 1897 in Mazomanie, Dane Co, WI.

Listed in "A Register of Deceased Persons at Sea and Grosse Ile in 1847" published by the Canadian Government (Parks Canada) in 1997 -- On the list of those who died at sea or on ship during Quarantine at Grosse Ile ---

Tithe Applotment Books of Parish Kildysart - 1825: Shows a Widow Miliken with 12 acres of 2nd quality land and 6 acres of 3rd quality land, which brought her total land holding at Rosshill in 1825 to 18 acres. This may be ancestor to Michael Miliken.

According to the 1855 Land Records (Griffith Valuation Books of 1855) - there was no evidence of any Milikens holding/leasing property at Coolteengowan (Rosshill) at that time.

Mrs. Curtin (Honora Grogan) died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cunneen, from the effects of cancer in the face from which she was suffered for many years. Her remains were entered at Mazomanie last week Sunday. Buried beside husband James Curtin in Mazomanie Cemetery, WI

3 ii. Bridget Miliken, born 14 June 1845 in Rosshill (Coolteengowan), County Clare, Ireland; died in Williams Twp, Bay City, MI. She married Worthy Perry 1869; born 1839 in Ohio; died 01 June 1894.

Bridget Miliken was baptised 15 June 1845 in the Parish of Kildysart, County Claire, Ireland. Sponsors: Mary Melican. (From Parish Records, Clare Heritage Center, Corofin, Co. Clare, Ireland.) Probably born between 12th and 15nd of June. At this time the priest recorded the family's address as Rosshill. Rosshill is not a townland in its own right but is rather an area situated within the bigger townland of Coolteengowan. Coolteengowan is a townland (a townland being the smallest rural division of a Parish) of approximately 246 acres situated in the Parish of Kildysart.

Bridget Miliken or Aunt Delia as she was better known, spent most of her married life on a farm near Bay City, Michigan, with her husband Worthy and step daughter, Flora. Delia had brown hair and blue eyes and was quite on the plump side. She loved the latest styles, jewelry and a fair amount of social life. She was remembered as being very pleasant and gay, having visited her sisters and nieces several times in Wisconsin. - from Miliken and Curtin Family History and Family Tree, p. 5.

2. Mary² Miliken (Michael¹) was born 19 June 1839 in Rosshill (Coolteengowan), Parish of Kildysart, County Clare, Ireland, and died 14 November 1913 in Spring Green, Sauk, WI. She married Patrick Bridgeman 27 April 1872 in St. Raphael's Church - Madison, Dane Co., WI, son of James Bridgeman and Alice Naughton. He was born 25 December 1839 in Shanagolden, County Limerick, Ireland, and died 20 September 1918 in Town of Tainter, Dunn Co, WI.

Mary Miliken - Baptized 22 June 1839 in County Claire, Parish of Kildysart. Sponsors: Sinon Melican and Catherine Connors. (From Parish Records, Clare Heritage Center, Corofin, Co. Clare, Ireland.) Probably born between 19th and 22nd of June. At this time the priest recorded the family's address as Rosshill. Mary (Miliken) Bridgeman, born in County Clare, Ireland, had curly, dark brown hair and brown eyes, was medium in height and rather slim. She had a very loving nature, so everyone loved her in return. It is said, that in raising her children, she ruled with kindness so seldom needed to resort to discipline. Her love of the outdoors resulted in a fondness for flowers, trees, birds and animals. Mary has left a Bible that has her marriage date recorded by her husband, Patrick Bridgeman. They were married in St. Raphael's Church of Madison, Wis. - Miliken and Curtin Family History and Family Tree, p. 2.

The Weekly Home News, Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI (November 20, 1913), p. 1:

OBITUARY - BRIDGEMAN

Mrs. Patrick Bridgeman died at the family home in the town of Spring Green last Friday. Although Mrs. Bridgeman has been in poor health for several weeks, her condition seemed to be much improved, and her death came without warning from another stroke of paralysis. Her life has been a useful one and her loss will be keenly felt, not alone in her family, but among a large circle of friends and neighbors.

Mary Miliken was born in county Clare, Ireland, seventy-two years ago and came to America when a child. She was united in marriage with Patrick Bridgeman April 23d, 1872, and since that time their home has been on the Bridgeman farm northwest of this village. To this union six children were born, all of whom survive. Deceased leaves to mourn her loss her husband, her children, John of Muscoda, Mike of Menomonie, James, Alice, Mary and Honora who live on the home farm; two sisters, Mesdames Cunneen and Ross; two brothers, John and Tim Curtin, and four grandchildren.

The funeral was held st St. John's church Monday morning, the pastor, Rev. J. B. Brudermanns, officiating and the body was placed at rest in the Catholic cemetery.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Curtin and son J. H. Curtin, of Madison; Tim Curtin of Marshfield; Mrs. Margaret Cunneen, Blue Mound; Mrs. Johanna Ross, Brookfield, Illinois; John Bridgeman, Lenox, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. John Bridgeman and two children, Muscoda; Mike Bridgeman, Menomonie.

4 i. James³ Bridgeman, born 21 January 1873 in Town of Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI; died 24 February 1952 in Spring Green, Sauk, WI. Farmer. Never married.

+ 5 ii. John Bridgeman, born 28 May 1874; died 21 December 1946 in Muscoda, WI.

6 iii. Alice Bridgeman, born 25 August 1876 in Town of Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI; died 13 July 1958 in Spring Green, Sauk, WI. Never married.

+ 7 iv. Michael M. Bridgeman, born 23 April 1879 in Town of Spring Green, Sauk Co, WI; died 09 August 1950 in Town of Tainter, Dunn Co, WI.

8 v. Mary Ellen Bridgeman, born 12 December 1880 in Wisconsin; died 17 March 1917 in Spring Green, Sauk, WI.

9 vi. Honora (Nora) E. Bridgeman, born 05 August 1882 in Twp Bear Creek, Spring Green, Sauk, WI; died 29 July 1966 in Madison, Dane Co, WI. Never married.
