Many other familiar names of those who were banished or killed appear on pp. 380, 381, 382, some of which is included in following.

Prisoners brought from Drumfries to Edinbrugh extracted from p. 377 of the 1684 Privy Council Register, paragraph 312, and they were prob. moved over a period of months.

Canongate prison. John McHaffie and Andrew Wilson are named in PC10.144, 16 Feb 1685, in Report on prisoners in Canongate Tolbooth: John McHaffie, Andrew Wilson "Two old sensles seek poor creatures starving in prison, give all other satisfaction but will not take the oath of alledgeance. The Committee offer it as their opinion they be sett at liberty." Committee composed of Lievtennant Generall Drummond of Cromlix, Collonell Grahame of Claverhouse called and examined prisoners.

I don't know whether John McHaffie was released, but I am told that he did enter New Jersey, and it seems likely that it will be possible to trace him there, and perhaps in s.e. PA. It has been suggested that he was involved in the rebellion at Stranraer, Wigtownshire, mid-1685, and entered New Jersey later that year.
