"... Then two of Ensign John Bogges which had been return'd to him to be attested, one Amounting to £81:7:6 and the other to £208:1:6 being for Expresses & for Rum & Sugar given in Presents to the Indians, were presented to the House & Severally read. Resolved that Sixty Seven Pounds 10s for the Expresses mention'd in the first of the Said Accounts be Provided for & no more, as the Residue of the Said Account is for Rum & Sugar given in presents to The Indians. Resolved (upon the Question) That the Account amounting to £208:1:6 being for Rum & Sugar given to the Indians be rejected. Ordered that the said £67:10 be inserted in the said Schedule. And the same was inserted in the Schedule Accordingly...."
