That the Committee having Considered that matter accordingly, had directed him to report their Opinion thereupon to the House & he read the report in his Place & afterwards delivered it in at the Clerk's Table where the same was read & is as follows, Viz. That upon Considering the State of our Circumstances with the Indians in Amity with this Government, it will not be proper, at this Juncture, to make any Reduction in the present Allowance to such persons Living on the Roads Leading from the several Nations of Friendly Indians To & from Charles Town as Shall Supply the said Indians with Provisions & Liquor on their Journeys.
