Tuesday the 24 day of April 1750.

"... An Order drawn by two Justices and one Free holder of the County of
Colleton, upon the Public Treasurer for payment of the Sum of twenty Pounds
Proclamation Money to Walter Holman, and the the further Sum of twenty Pounds
like Money to Robert Wright Esqr. ...."

"... Bill for establishing a Ferry over Santee River in the Parish of St. James
Santee, from the Plantation commonly called Courage's Plantation, on the North
side of the said River, to the Place commonly called Jonathan Skrine's on the
South side of the said River; and for vesting the said Ferry in Alexander Dupont
...."

"... Bill for appointing Commissioners for the public Road leading from the
plantation late of William Watson deceased in Christ Church Parish commonly
called Habcaw to the High Road leading to Church in the said Parish, and that
Doctor Rutledge do prepare and bring in the same...."

"A Petition of Matthew Roche on the behalf of Charles McNaire, late a Trader to
the Chactaw Nation of Indians, ... praying the payment of an Account of
disbursments by the said Charles McNaire and Company for Presents given to the
said Indians to promote their Revolt from the French and establish their Amity
with the English, and likewise an Account of Losses which they sustained in the
said Nation ...."

"Mr. Dart from the Committee who were appointed to correspond with James Crokatt
Esqr., the Agent for solliciting the Affairs of this Province in Great Britain,
...."

"A Letter from Peregrine Furye Esqr., late Agent, to the Committee of
Correspondence, dated London the eleventh Day of November one thousand seven
hundred and forty nine ...."

"... paid to Mr. Frederic John Parris on account of the Fee Act last passed
...."

Wednesday the 25 day of April 1750.

"... Mr. Smith reported from the Committee to whom the Petition of James McRee
and Deborah his Wife, lately called Deborah McKerthen, Widow of Thomas
McKerthen, son and only Child of Dougle McKerthen late of Craven County deceased
...."

"... The Committee to whom the Petition of Wm. Spencer Senn, Administrator, and
Mary Vanderweick, Administratrix: of the Estate of William McCluer late of
John's Island Planter deceased, was referred.

Report, That the Committee have (pursuant to the Order of the House) examined
the Matter of the said Petition, & it appeared to them that the four Negro
Slaves mentioned in the Petition were executed for the Murder of their Master,
the said William McCluer...."

"... Then a Motion ... for the Damages sustained by William Coomer and Lydia
Clark from a Fire that broke out in Queen-Street in the said Town between the
twenty eighth and twenty ninth Days of July last...."

"... Mr. Irving from the Committee who were appointed to correspond with James
Crokatt Esqr....."

"... By Order of the House. Andw. Rutledge, Speaker...."

"... Ordered, that Mr. Gough and Mr. Mayrant do carry the said ingrossed
Message, together with the said Letters and other Papers ...."

"... Doctor Glen presented to the House ...."

Thursday the 26 day of April 1750.

"... An Account of Elizabeth Hawkins amounting to the Sum of twenty five Pounds,
being for Indian Expences incurred the thirty first Day of March last ....

Resolved, that the said account be not received.

An account of Captain-Lieutenant George Cadogan, commanding Officer at
Fort-Moore, for Indian Expences, amounting to the sum of nine hundred and thirty
two Pounds fourteen Shillings and six Pence, was presented to the House, and the
same was received and read.

Resolved, that the said account be Rejected...."
