Cemeteries, some of them dating back to the 1700's. There are approximaly 7,000
names in the full name index. It has 288 pages bound in hard cover 8 1/2" x 11"
on acid-free long-life paper with County Map included.

COMMUNITY CEMETERIES
Rose Hill Cemetery, located in the Watts Mill (Wattsville) section of Laurens
County, which originally was a textile village. First burials were just after
1900. This cemetery mainly serves Lucas Avenue Baptist, St. James Methodist &
Grace Covenant Presbyterian Churches
Waterloo Cemetery, located in the Waterloo community, is so
multi-denominational. The earliest marked grave was in 1825.

The Laurens District Chapter originally published this Volume One in 1990. The
chapter has the materials for Volume Two almost ready to be sent to the
printers.
