Subject: Abbeville/Greenwood County From: Melvin Collier Date: April 07, 1998 Can someone help me? I have a question. When was Greenwood County formed? Was it ever a part of Abbeville County. I had relatives who I found in the 1880 Abbeville Co. census, living in Greenwood Township. I was just wondering did this particular area of Abbeville County become Greenwood County. Also, does anyone know what part of Abbeville County the Upper Long Cain Presbyterian Church was located? THANKS.
