Is anyone researching or have info on Jonathan Baker and/or James M. Phillips of "Old Darlington County, S.C."? Jonathan Baker was b: abt. 1776-1780, and lived in the sections around Cartersville, Timmonsville, and Lamar. He had a son named Ezekial who married Martha Phillips. I'm at dead end on finding Jonathan's family and ancestry. He was my gg grandfather.

James M. Phillips, b: abt. 1776, had a son named James Phillips born 1802 who married Mary Mimms. James M. Phillips was my ggg grandfather. My efforts to learn more about James M. Phillips family/ancestry have turned up zero.
