Subject: Baker family of Marion County SC From: Deborah Byrd Date: October 05, 1998 I have found an 1830's deed in Marion County SC transfer land from the estate of William Baker Snr to his son John/Jonothan Baker. The person transfering the land in William Baker Jnr. Is this John Baker the same as John Baker will of 1861 in Sumter District SC? Does the Baker family of Marion County cross the state line and also live in NC? My John Baker b. abt 1778 in NC.
